Our Home–Away From Home Experience
By Montana Max BBQ
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Home–Away From Home Boondockers Welcome location in Northwest Missouri. Our hosts, Ken and Robin greeted us upon arrival and helped us get settled. Robin provided us with a welcome box filled with information about the surrounding area and all the attractions that were close by. Robin even gave us homemade cookies upon arrival.
That kind of welcome and hospitality is unparalleled. With this beautiful rural setting, one might think that there isn’t much to see, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Everything from dairy farms to museums and so much more. You’re only a very short drive from Kansas City as well if you have a fancy to take in some of the best barbecue you’ve ever tasted.
Home–Away From Home provides a quiet, safe place to rest and recharge. You’ll be treated like family and the relationships they create with their guests are absolutely amazing. Make sure you take a moment to sign the guest book provided in the welcome box. It’s full of all the travelers that Ken and Robin have met in their 3 years of hosting. You’re truly in for a treat with a stay here and some of the best conversation that any traveler could hope for.
